Tip for raising your credit score - 
If you have an outstanding balance on any of your credit cards of more then 40% of your credit limit - consider paying that card(s) down to less then 40% of the credit limit. This will help to raise your credit score. 
Example: Your VISA card has a credit limit of $1200, 40% of that would be $480....by paying that card down to at least $479, you can have a positive effect on your credit score.
